Jessie Booten is a New Orleanian expat who is currently crawling home to the place she loves. She was a manager, a secretary, a clerk, a teacher, and a nurse in a past life but has since moved on. She has a strong maternal instinct, loves to cook, and has the warm and crushing personality of a steamroller. Jessie lives with her puppy dog, Rory, her best friend and significant other, Max, and a whole cast of characters, of whom she’s quite fond.
